Update: 10-21-24

Growth Momentum!    Issachar Update: Issachar is currently focused on growth stocks experiencing accelerating earnings and sales, positioning us to capitalize on the AI expansion. We maintain about 22% of our portfolio in a Gold ETF to hedge against inflation and potential market downturns. Recently, I sold several overvalued stocks and shifted to lower-risk opportunities. Like the liquidity-driven rally during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, our growth strategy is being rewarded by the market. I intend to take advantage of this momentum while it lasts, especially given the Fed’s accommodative rate policy, which supports a robust bull market. (Please note, there’s no guarantee that any investment will meet its objectives, generate positive returns, or avoid losses.)

Market Update: Earnings reports have surpassed expectations, encouraging risk-taking among investors in growth stocks. The junk bond market shows an upward trend, reflecting a strong risk appetite. Market breadth has improved, with more stocks participating in this AI-driven rally, suggesting we might be at the beginning of a multi-year AI boom.

Approximately $6 trillion in sidelined cash is gradually entering the stock market following the Fed’s 50 basis point rate cut in September. Some investors seek better stock returns to combat inflation as money market yields decrease. Rising long-term rates, gold prices, and the dollar also point to increasing inflation.

On the geopolitical front, Israel has announced it will not target Iranian oil fields. Saudi Arabia is ramping up oil production before the election, leading to a swift decline in oil prices. It raises the question of whether political favors are at play to keep gas prices low before the Presidential election.

Bottom line: Liquidity remains strong, and Issachar is fully invested, anticipating a continuing AI-driven rally leading to the November 5th election. I may consider hedging or selling positions based on the charts. Significant capital is positioning itself according to expected outcomes, and if those expectations shift, the market will quickly reflect the change in price and volume. I rely on the charts, not personal opinions—after all, the market knows best. May God’s grace, peace, and wisdom be with you always!
